Helios is a new entity with a storied legacy in luxury stone, and the largest stone atelier in the country. As they set out afresh, we created an identity for them that reflected their heritage, quality, scale, and excellence

The Mark of Timelessness

We created Helios' new logo with an intersection of a circle and a square - a blend of stability and perfection. At the heart of this intersection lies the letter "H," symbolizing Helios, crafted with precision and care.

To complement this mark, a logotype was designed with the sleek and modern Termina Extended font.

Helios' dedication to quality and the pinnacle of perfection inspired their identity. The Vitruvian ideal of harmony and proportions gave rise to the circle-square motif, and the final logo gives a subtle nod to the sun itself - after which Helios is named.
The design language that accompanies the logo is bold and understated, with geometric elements in premium, elegant and muted shades of blue.
The geometric motifs have been taken from the logo and given a subtle sense of movement to add depth and dynamism to the identity. Not too different from what the rich veins in a block of marble do to the stone itself.

Old Marble, New Times

In addendum, we have designed a unique calendar from repurposed marble as a give-away. Unlike typical calendars, ours features marble cubes with carved numbers, month names and days. A delightful challenge, this little project saw the entire team innovate, from inspiring sketches to depth-defying 3D models. Not only did we design the calendar but we also designed the box it comes in.

Step into opulence

We elevated the logo and key details by deploying foiling and embossing processes, and also explored finishing treatments to add an additional layer of sophistication to the overall design.

Setting a new standard for quality and design

The intent behind this identity exercise was to bring depth and intensity to Helios, mirroring the experience they offer their patrons through the medium of stone. The final design is a reflection of Helios' dedication to quality, sprawling atelier, and innate timelessness.
